一帶一路是共建“絲綢之路經(jīng)濟(jì)帶”和“21世紀(jì)海上絲綢之路”倡議的簡(jiǎn)單表述。2013年9月和10月，中國(guó)國(guó)家主席習(xí)近平在出訪(fǎng)中亞和東南亞國(guó)家期間，先后提出共建“絲綢之路經(jīng)濟(jì)帶”和“21世紀(jì)海上絲綢之路”的重大倡議。并開(kāi)始被簡(jiǎn)稱(chēng)為共建“一帶一路”倡議。2015年3月28日，經(jīng)國(guó)務(wù)院授權(quán)，國(guó)家發(fā)展和改革委員會(huì)、外交部、商務(wù)部聯(lián)合發(fā)布了《推動(dòng)共建絲綢之路經(jīng)濟(jì)帶和21世紀(jì)海上絲綢之路的愿景與行動(dòng)》；2017年5月，推進(jìn)“一帶一路”領(lǐng)導(dǎo)小組辦公室宣布了《共建“一帶一路”：理念、實(shí)踐與中國(guó)的貢獻(xiàn)》。4年多來(lái)，全球100多個(gè)國(guó)家和國(guó)際組織積極響應(yīng)和支持，聯(lián)合國(guó)大會(huì)和安理會(huì)多次將其納入相關(guān)決議，“一帶一路”建設(shè)逐漸從理念轉(zhuǎn)化為行動(dòng)，從愿景轉(zhuǎn)變?yōu)楝F(xiàn)實(shí)，正在打造成為順應(yīng)經(jīng)濟(jì)全球化潮流的最廣泛國(guó)際合作平臺(tái)，讓共建“一帶一路”更好造福各國(guó)人民。那么“一帶一路”相關(guān)的英文翻譯都是什么呢?

一、在對(duì)外公文中，統(tǒng)一將“絲綢之路經(jīng)濟(jì)帶和21世紀(jì)海上絲綢之路”的英文全稱(chēng)譯為“the Silk Road Economic Belt and the 21st-Century Maritime Silk Road”，“一帶一路”簡(jiǎn)稱(chēng)譯為“the Belt and Road”，英文縮寫(xiě)用“B&R”。
